A Real-time integrated application system for urban multi-source meteorological data based on WebGIS

چکیده

on the basis of shortage existing in current meteorological integrated display system, this paper introduces an open source framework of Mapserver, discussed the construction mechanism of WebGIS development based on it. A client solution based on it has been implemented in order to provide a WebGIS environment for multi-source meteorological data. The results showed that the new constructed system can improve responsiveness and user's experience, enhance the compatibility among different browsers, with a lot of flexibility and extensibility; and it is easy to realize. Therefore, this solution is practical and a great deal to constructing and running the application WebGIS with high quality and efficiency.
